Welcome back

The holidays have gone very fast and I hope you are all rested and recharged for the year ahead. The Year 3 Teachers have been busy getting the classrooms ready for Monday and are looking forward to hearing all about your holiday adventures.

Once you have hung your bag up, pop your books and things onto your desk - we will sort these out after morning tea. After the roll, if the weather is fine, we will be attending the pōwhiri for new students and staff. Parents and caregivers are welcome to stay and join in the welcome.

It is a big help if you can have all your stationery ready and named for the first day of term. Below is a list of what your books will be used for. (The full stationery list can be downloaded from the school website.) Please write the subject on the front cover of each book underneath your name and room number. We will be using our own pens, glue sticks etc so please name everything. It is very difficult to find missing items when they are not named. Book coverings like duraseal are handy to help make books more identifiable and harder wearing, but this is not essential.
