In Year 3 Arts Interchange this term, the children working in Room 18 are looking at the Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh. Click on the image above to see examples of some of his work. The music is titled Vincent by Don McLean. A link to this song with the lyrics can be found at the bottom of this page. We have been talking about the some of the techniques he used and how art can make you feel a range of emotions. What feelings do you have when you watch this clip?
Our pieces are inspired by Van Gogh's 'Starry Night' and we will be learning about foreground and background, pointillism and double loading.
