The Poetry competition is coming up fast. The rubric we will use for judging is posted below and there is also a copy in the back of your poetry book. Read it carefully so you know what to focus on.
You need to choose a poem that is at least 8 lines and be able to recite it without looking at the words. This means that you need to practise, practise, practise. You can choose any of the poems in your poetry book, the classroom folder, a favourite from home, or from an online site. I have included a couple of links below, but there are many more.
