Today we were joined by some of the children in Room 16. We read a poem called The Most Magnificent Zoo which had some very unusual animals in it . We were inspired to create our own mixed up animals - check them out in Room 18 when you get a chance. Some of them look very scary - I hope we don't find these at Orana Park on Monday!
There is also a fun online programme called SwitchZoo which has lots of interesting facts about animals and you can also make some very mixed up animals by choosing different bodies, heads, legs and tails. Click on the picture below to try it out for yourself or download the app.
